Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Nothing you enter in Kuzum reaches us. There is no account and no server; everything you enter stays on your phone. The free version's single ad space is non-personalised, and nothing about your pregnancy is sent to it.
Who makes Kuzum
Kuzum is developed by My Point Bilişim ve Danışmanlık Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("we" on this page). Address: Altayçeşme Mah. Seri Sok. No: 11/C D: 31, 34843 Maltepe, Istanbul, Türkiye. Email: info@mypoint.com.tr.
What you keep in the app
While using Kuzum you may enter:
- the first day of your last period or your due date,
- appointments, their notes and reminder choices,
- kick counts and contraction records,
- hospital bag and baby essentials lists,
- names you like or add,
- bump photos, their dates and notes.
All of this is kept only in Kuzum's own storage on your phone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else; we cannot see it or access it.
Your phone's backups
If backups are turned on (iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone, Google backup on Android), Kuzum's data is included in them like any other app's, so it isn't lost when you change phones. Backups are stored in your Apple or Google account under those companies' terms; we have no access to them. Apart from this, Kuzum does not use any cloud sync such as iCloud Drive.
Permissions
- Camera: only to take a bump photo, asked when you tap "Take photo".
- Photos: choosing from your library uses the phone's own picker. Kuzum only sees the photo you pick, not your whole library. The day the photo was taken is read; extra details such as location are not kept in the app's copy.
- Notifications: only for appointment reminders. They are scheduled on your phone, not sent over the internet.
Ads
The free version of Kuzum has a single ad space (a banner) at the bottom of the Today and Tools screens. Ads are served by Google AdMob.
- Non-personalised ads: ads are not chosen from your interests or history. Kuzum does not ask permission to track you across apps and does not use your phone's advertising identifier.
- What never goes to ads: your last period or due date, your week of pregnancy, appointments, records, lists, names and photos are not sent to the ad network.
- Technical details Google collects: to show and count ads and to prevent fraudulent clicks, Google receives technical details from your phone such as its IP address (and the approximate location derived from it), device model, operating system, language, app details and ad impressions and clicks. Google's servers are outside Türkiye, so these details are transferred abroad. How Google handles them is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Content: ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
- Users in Europe: where the law requires it, Google's consent form is shown; you can change your choice in Settings → "Ad privacy choices".
Loading ads needs an internet connection; the rest of Kuzum works offline.
Sharing
When you share your weekly card or a photo, it goes to the app you pick in your phone's share menu. You decide what to share and with whom.
Third parties
Apart from Google AdMob described above, Kuzum contains no analytics, crash reporting or tracking tools. The app is downloaded from the App Store and Google Play, whose own privacy policies apply.
If you write to us
If you email us, your address and message are used only to reply to you and for nothing else. You can use the same address to exercise your rights under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).
Deleting your data
You can delete records one by one inside the app. To delete everything, remove the app from your phone. Copies may remain in earlier phone backups; you can delete those in your Apple or Google account's backup settings.
Changes
If we add a feature that changes how your data is handled (for example in-app purchases), this page will be updated before that feature is released. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
